4th of July

This is the 4th of July. Perhaps today is a good day to remember how important it is to guard against collective complacency. A government doesn’t have the right to treat its people or people from other countries like garbage. Our most basic and necessary rights shouldn’t be breached openly or in secret. We, as human beings, deserve better than that.
